If you have a Papumba subscription and you want to use it on a new device, follow these steps:
A) How to transfer your subscription from an iOS device to another iOS device:
If Papumba is not already installed:
- On the new device, go to “Settings” and make sure that you are signed in with the same account used on the first device.
- Tap on the App Store icon on the new iPhone or iPad.
- Search for the Papumba app and install it on the new device.
- Launch the app and in the customization, screens sign in with the same account used to purchase your Papumba subscription on the first device.
- When presented with the offering screen, look for the “Restore Purchase” button at the bottom and tap on it.
- Apple will check for your active subscription and grant you access to the app.
If Papumba is already installed:
- On the new device, go to “Settings” and make sure that you are signed in with the same account used on the first device.
- Launch the Papumba app and get to the main menu.
- Tap on the Parents icon in the upper left corner.
- Pass the numerical test.
- Tap on Account and then on Manage my Plan
- Tap on the “Restore Purchase” button.
Note: Apple might request to put in your Apple ID password or fingerprint ID to confirm. Ensure to use the same account you’ve used to make your Papumba mobile subscription.
B) How to transfer your subscription from an Android device to another Android device:
- On the new Android phone or tablet, tap the Google Play Store icon.
- Make sure that you're signed in with the same account that you have chosen to start/purchase your Papumba subscription on the first device.
- If Papumba is not yet installed on the new device, search for the Papumba app and install it.
- Launch the Papumba app. Android will automatically check for your active subscription and grant you access to the app.
C) Web Subscription
- On the new device, tap on the App Store (iOS) icon or Google Play Store icon (Android).
- Search for the Papumba app and install it on the new device.
- Launch Papumba app on your new device.
- In the customization screens sign in with the same account used on the Papumba website to purchase your subscription.
- The Papumba app will recognize your active subscription and grant you access to the content on the new device.
Note: purchasing a subscription from our website allows you to access the Papumba app on up to 4 devices.
D) General considerations
- If you've started a Papumba mobile subscription on the Apple App Store, you won't be able to access it (restore your purchase) on any Android device.
- Likewise, if you've started a Papumba subscription from the Google Play Store, you won't be able to access it (restore your purchase) on any Apple/iOS.
- App Store and Google Play Store are different stores, isolated from each other. Unfortunately, there is no way of using them crosswise.
- If your device is Android and it has an active “Kid´s profile”, you won't be able to access it (restore your purchase) in that device due to Play Store parental control configuration which doesn’t allow “kid´s profiles” to perform any “purchase” or “restore purchase” steps.
